Seeking Justice & Support Against BeardManNM: Help Us Overcome False Allegations
Slander, Frivilous Speech, Lies!
In November 2022, Daedalus Teks Inc., led by our owner Cesar Garcia, filed a lawsuit against Shane Stanford and LX Farms LLC. The lawsuit stemmed from allegations of misrepresentation, fraud, and property damage. Over the course of the legal proceedings, it became clear that Shane Stanford had been spreading false and damaging information about our company.
Anonymous Testimony:
One pivotal moment in this case was the testimony from a cannabis retail owner. Here is his statement about his encounter with Shane Stanford that prompted him to come forward:
Good morning gentlemen. I got back quite late from ABQ so I wasn’t able to send any kind of response. Hello Mr. Cravens, I’m a cannabis retail owner along with my sister and her husband.
I'll start from the beginning. Mr. Stanford approached our social media team on Instagram, asking us to sample some of his farm's exclusive products. Since our Store Manager and I were scheduled to pick up products from a local vendor in ABQ, we arranged to meet at Tin Alley, 6110 Alameda Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113.
We all sat and had a beer. We began to discuss the genesis of our companies and the price points of their products. Once we conducted the bulk of the conversation (prices and products), I asked him if he had any trouble with Bio Track, given that I had been hearing from other vendors that the software is buggy and malfunctions often on them. He said yes, that it was very outdated and the system runs terribly. “It's like old 2001 software; I can’t even get it on my phone.”
Knowing that Daedalus offers laptops and tablets for Bio Track, I asked him if he had heard of Daedalus Teks. To which he said, “Yeah, do not do business with them. They're a bunch of snakes. I’m currently in legal litigation with them.”
To my obvious shock, I asked him “why,” since I had bought a lot of hardware for my business from Daedalus Teks and was genuinely concerned (over $12,000 in equipment). Mr. Stanford then said, “I took the computers that I bought from them to Best Buy, and the Geek Squad told me they put spyware and malware on it to hack it whenever they wanted to.” Intentionally putting programs on people's computers to hack them is so wrong, so I asked, “Were they stealing your data or what?” He said, “No, they could mess with my cameras and my system.”
This made sense, so I was extremely worried about all the equipment I had in my shop being compromised and all the money I would have to spend to investigate this. Then Mr. Stanford began telling me a story about how at the last Lucky Leaf Expo, he and an individual he dubbed as the owner of Bio Track, “Peter,” walked up to Cesar and told him “he didn’t know shit.” Then Mr. Stanford said that Peter was going to “fire Cesar from Bio Track,” which raised a red flag for me since Cesar didn’t even work for Bio Track.
I began to feel very uncomfortable, so I directed the conversation back to the products and ended the meeting shortly after.
After Mr. Stanford had made his exit, My Coworker and I got something to eat. So I began dissecting our meeting. I thought: 1. Why would Bio Track refer me to Daedalus Teks if the owner of the company was incompetent and wasn’t in good standing with the “owner”? 2. I needed to investigate if this litigation case against the company was true. So I went directly to Daedalus Teks' store to clear up these allegations made by Mr. Stanford. To find out that all the holes in Mr. Stanford's stories were indeed fabrications to have me not do business with Daedalus Teks.
Shane Stanford's AKA BeardmanNM's Alleged Actions:
Adding to the concerning behavior exhibited by Shane Stanford, he requested to vacate our last hearing due to having COVID-19. However, he was seen the very next day hanging out with Tommy Chong and Cheech Marin. This incident raises serious questions:
- Was he lying about having COVID-19 to avoid the hearing?
- If he truly had COVID-19, why did he intentionally expose Cheech and Chong to the virus?
These actions further underscore the need for a thorough investigation and the importance of gathering testimonies from those affected by his deceit.
Known Associations:
At the moment, we are aware of the following cannabis businesses that have done work with Shane while he was at LX Farms:
- Canvas Organics
- Grandma's Potshop
- La Tiendita de Motita
- Lifted Cannabis
- Lucient Dispensary
- NCABQ
- Pharmers Quality
- Reloaded Canna
- Seven Point Farms
If Shane Stanford is capable of such actions against us, imagine the potential harm he could do to anyone he currently works with.
